What you'll do
Always wanted to give pottery a try but weren't sure the best way to begin? Come along to Triangle Pottery in the leafy suburbs of Farnborough for this two-and-a-half-hour pottery taster session.
Hosted by an experienced potter in a purpose built, modern facility with wheelchair access, this class give you the opportunity to get to grips with both wheel throwing and hand building pottery techniques in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment.
You'll enjoy some background on the fascinating history of pottery in the area along with expert demonstrations of the tools and techniques you'll be using. Then, under the watchful eye of your friendly tutor, you'll have a go yourself as you employ your hands and the potter's wheel to create something unique.
Your favourite piece from the day will then be fired in the kiln, ready to be collected at a later date and enjoyed forever, or given as a one-of-a-kind gift. Whether you're coming along with a few friends or bringing the whole gang, it's a brilliant opportunity to learn pottery.
