What you'll do
If you're looking for hen party ideas for small groups or a birthday celebration with a difference, come along to Triangle Pottery in Farnborough and get creative with clay with the whole gang.
Situated in a modern, purpose-built facility nestled in leafy suburbs, this three-hour pottery workshop gives you and your guests the opportunity to try your hand at wheel throwing, hand-building and even a bit of pottery painting, giving an excellent overview of the fun and versatility of working with ceramics.
Beginning with some engaging demonstrations of the materials and tools you'll be using throughout the session, you'll quickly move on to giving it a go yourself as you try your hand at throwing on the potter's wheel and building some pots by hand.
As an added treat, you'll also use your choice of glazes and paints to decorate a pot thrown by resident expert potter, Daniel. Your favourite handmade piece will also be glazed and fired in the kiln, ready to be collected at a later date.
No matter your group's interests or level of experience, you'll love getting your hands dirty while learning the soothing, mindful art of pottery.
