Pop Art Painting Class

Paint and sip the Andy Warhol way at this beginner-friendly art class in London.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 30 guests       £55 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Imagine painting in an artist’s studio, surrounded by inspiring artworks, flowers on the table, and relaxing background music — all while being guided by a practising artist to complete your piece.
This isn’t your typical paint and sip session. In our studio, you’ll actually pick up a few Pop Art techniques along the way.
What Is Pop Art?
Pop Art exploded in the 1950s and ’60s as a colourful, rebellious movement that challenged the boundaries of traditional fine art. Inspired by comic books, advertising, and celebrity culture, artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Keith Haring made bold lines, flat colours, and iconic imagery the heart of contemporary art. Our workshop pays homage to this fearless, fun, and unforgettable style.
What You’ll Learn:
  • How to create high-impact Pop Art using acrylics, gouache, Posca pens, and spray paint
  • Layering and colour blocking techniques inspired by classic Pop Art styles
  • Spray paint skills for bold backgrounds and stencilled textures
  • How to channel flat colour, graphic lines, and expressive detail into a stylised final piece
What to Expect:
You’ll work from a curated set of photo references — all outlined for you, so there’s no pressure to draw. We’ll provide everything ready for you to paint, allowing you to focus on technique, colour, and expression. The session is designed to guide you through painting and layering methods to help you create a bold and striking final piece.

Your instructor:Louisa Tebbutt is a London-based mixed media artist. Louisa has been commissioned by celebrity clients, including musicians and Hollywood A-listers.
Her debut collection gained recognition at the Saatchi Gallery, and she has won awards like the Sotheby’s Young International Art and the Jerwood Drawing Prize.
