Pendant Wax Carving Workshop

In this immersive 2.5-hour wax carving workshop, you’ll design and carve your very own pendant from wax. Led by Amber Cooper-Green, the session takes place in the cosy workshop space inside ARC Space, where you’ll be guided through each stage of the process in a relaxed and supportive setting.No previous experience is needed. This workshop is designed for all levels, whether you’re completely new to jewellery making or keen to explore wax carving in more depth.What you’ll experience. Design and carve your own unique pendant. Learn core wax-carving techniques and tool handling. Guided, hands-on support from Amber throughout. A friendly, encouraging and inspiring environment. One complimentary drink from Kawfee included (cafe open throughout)You’ll work directly with carving wax and specialist tools, exploring texture, shape, and form as your pendant design comes to life. This is a tactile, creative session that encourages experimentation and play, helping you feel confident as you develop your piece. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a finished wax pendant ready for casting, along with a deeper appreciation for this traditional jewellery-making process.Each pendant is completely individual - made by you, from start to finish.NotesGetting your pendant backAt the end of the session, you’ll leave your wax-carved pendant with me to be professionally cast in your chosen metal.Once cast, your piece will be sanded and polished before being returned to you.Finished pendants can be collected from NOOK (located in the same building) or posted to your chosen address via Royal Mail for a small additional cost.Please allow up to 4 weeks from the workshop date for completion and delivery (gold plating may take a little longer).Important informationThis workshop uses cold wax-carving techniques only.No flames will be used, in line with the building’s health and safety regulations.
