• 3/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2025: The class felt too big and although there was someone supporting it was hard to follow the main painter - the class over ran by atleast 30 minutes and it still felt that the end bit when we were on the filling in the detail it was really rushed and the first half felt we were going through to slow.

However where we weee sitting meant we couldn’t see sone aspects of the teacher painting. The picture we understand was complicated but it felt the foundations for creating the picture took too long so it meant the details for finishing it were rushed. It felt stressful towards the end rather than relaxing and I didn’t finish my picture as didn’t want to rush it. More examples to see around the room would have helped to see variations would have been helpful.

The teacher (I had a bit too much wine and forgot her name) was so absolutely fantastic! Just the right energy and enthusiasm, great to chat to and so patient and knowledgeable with us. The instructor was absolutely brilliant – so encouraging and helpful, and really made the whole experience enjoyable. The painting itself was a great choice; it was definitely a challenge, but not so difficult that it became frustrating. It was pitched perfectly! Although the class kept us all pretty busy concentrating on our masterpieces, the atmosphere was still so much fun. We managed to have a good laugh, admire each other's artwork (some more successfully than others!), and enjoy the drinks and snacks. The group size was just right – big enough to have a nice buzz, but small enough to feel personal. The whole evening had such a positive vibe, and I left feeling really happy and creative. I'd highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and unique night out!

She was good at hurrying us up at the end when we all got stuck faffing about not being able to leave it alone. Very knowledgeable. Had loads of fun. The assistant, who I assuming is also the organiser perhaps looked utterly bored and stood in the corner silent. Didn't really chat to anyone. It would have been good if she for stuck in and had some fun. Even just join is painting. Maybe she was just shy. Would definitely go again. Loved the process!

Annabelle was excellent at coaching us through the painting, teaching us techniques with really clear instructions and providing 1:1 advice if anyone got stuck. Despite the teaching aspect, it was a very laid back event, and we didn't feel pressured to paint to any specific standard. The end result was a painting that both of us are proud of, and three hours well spent.

It would be nice if the teacher made it a bit more fun rather than so very serious. She didn't seem too impressed when we were laughing at each others efforts etc! Love being able to do something like this in a pub - definitely a good venue, much nicer than a stuffy town hall or something. We will likely do another class, I would recommend for parents and teens or any family members as it is a nice bonding experience
