  • 5/5 from Sarah Brooks, attended Jun 2026: Attended my first sip and paint! It was lovely, jo was so welcoming and made the atmosphere so relaxed for all! I would love to join another one! I loved the Bridgerton theme I can’t wait to hang my picture!
  • 5/5 from Michelle, attended Jun 2026: This was my second event with brush party and with Jo, and whilst I love doing art I haven’t done any painting since my GCSE’s. You don’t need to be arty, or a pro or anything because you will end up with a painting you are proud of. Jo is an excellent teacher, I am not the fastest painter and she is always happy to go over something or advise. She is patient and kind and keeps a nice pace through the session. It’s great that you all end up with the same painting but there is so much beauty in how individual each one is because art isn’t perfect, art is our own interpretation. I enjoy Jo’s classes and I’m sure I will be back. Thank you so much

  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended May 2026: Very enjoyable, Jo was very informative and doing the painting was very immersive. The only criticism is that the venue was very packed no room to move once sitting, numbers need to be capped at a lower level.
  • 4/5 from Linds, attended May 2026: Excellent teacher. Venue too cramped for comfort - I had to mix my paints with the palette on my lap. Nice friendly atmosphere
  • 4/5 from James Horn, attended May 2026: Very enjoyable evening and Jo very encouraging. Oddfellows Arms in Toddington rather cramped for the number of people attending. Difficult enough to mix the right colour without having any available surface for the palette!
  • 4/5 from Kath Cooksey, attended May 2026: Somewhere in Sardinia: Oddfellows Arms 5/5/26 The painting was enjoyable and I 0picked up some useful tips but the room was overcrowded - too many people in a fairly small space.

  • 5/5 from Toni Cahill, attended Mar 2026: Another great class with Jo yesterday at the Oddfellows Arms in Toddington. It was a smaller group than usual, which was really nice and gave the evening a relaxed feel. The painting itself was quite challenging and definitely one where you had to trust the process, but Jo guided us through it really clearly. I absolutely love how my final painting turned out. A great night as always!

  • 5/5 from Jonathan Smith, attended Jan 2026: Jo was grreat at giving us a demonstration at each step, then leaving us to get on with it. Had to concentrate to keep up, which is not a bad thing, as we all got finished just about on time.

  • 5/5 from Toni Cahill, attended Nov 2025: Jo was brilliant as usual—so patient, encouraging, and fun to follow along with. The group was super friendly, and it was amazing to see everyone’s fantastic little gonks come to life! The venue was a bit cramped and definitely too warm for me, but the staff were lovely—really welcoming. All in all, a great night with Jo as always. Can’t wait for the next one!
  • 5/5 from Jacqueline Swannell, attended Nov 2025: Brilliant night, really good fun. Maybe more space would have been helpful. Would definitely go again.

  • 5/5 from Deborah Perry, attended Sep 2025: For someone that can only draw stick people I am blown away with my painting.
  • 5/5 from Sue Guess, attended Sep 2025: Great night, Jo was excellent and gave fantastic tuition Will definitely book another
  • 4/5 from Laura Hickman, attended Sep 2025: I really enjoyed the party. Teacher was great. Was a great atmosphere. I liked the venue.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Sep 2025: Jo was very good and helpful but she spent too much time in first half of the evening making sure everyone had just the right shade of colour for background of picture so there wasn’t enough time in the second half to cover the more important parts of the picture. It was very rushed and she was then about two steps in front of me so I didn’t enjoy completing the picture and I was not always able to see how she was doing the next stage. Jo did keep saying there was no rush but she had to rush through all the elements of the picture to get it finished and it still over ran by nearly an hour. Venue also very cramped.
  • 5/5 from Anne-Marie Prior, attended Aug 2025: Always a great evening with Jo. She is fun and explains every step very clearly.
  • 5/5 from Deb Perry, attended Aug 2025: Jo was lovely and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my first ever class and I cannot draw or have ever painted. I am proud of my result. A couple of times I got a bit behind, as it took me a while to mix the required colour. Was a lovely friendly group. I went alone but felt included. Will definitely be going back. The loyalty card was easy. I got a paper one, as I am a technophobe. All in all a fabulous evening.
  • 5/5 from Jackie McLaughlin, attended Aug 2025: Had such a lovely night, after having a really stressful day, spending the evening with Jo painting, was just what I needed. How she manages to guide us into ending up with a beautiful painting amazes me. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks Jo xxx
  • 5/5 from Carol Balaam, attended Jul 2025: Really great evening, thanks so much Jo, what a brilliant teacher you are xx Hopefully join you again.
  • 5/5 from Danielle McLellan, attended Jun 2025: We came as a group of friends and had a great time. Jo is very informative and helpful and there no judgement. You trust the process and it works. Nothing is too small for her and she’s always assisting and topping up paid and palettes. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
  • 5/5 from Anne-Marie Prior, attended Jun 2025: Jo is a great teacher. Motivating encouraging and praising. It was a great evening. Great group of people
  • 5/5 from Penny Adams, attended Jun 2025: A group of 6 went along to Jo's sip and paint party. This was the 1st time I had been so I wasn't sure what to expect and being awful at painting did have high hopes for the end result but with Jo's step by step guidance (and trusting the process) we were pleasantly surprised by the end results. Jo took her time allowing everyone to go at their own pace, gave lots of tips on the way and made us all feel welcome. I would definitely recommend a sip and paint party with Jo and can't wait for the next one!
