I enjoyed learning how to build up the painting from the background to the foreground and different brush techniques. I would have enjoyed it more if it were an easier picture to paint.

We started with a blank canvas and were given step by step instructions to be able to achieve fairly accurate paintings at the end of the class! Definitely recommended even for non-artists like me! Helen is a really good teacher!

I want to say he doesn’t want to join the next one for that reason he doesn’t want to join the next one.. No golden colour we were very disappoiintend. we like the venue on Helen but these things out us off to come back.

A bit of improvement for future the assistant could have been more encouraging and a little less critical and really didn’t get her humour also was eating during the session - don’t want to sound so negative but little things count

• 5/5 from Lynne Harris, attended Mar 2025: This was my second class and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a smaller class than my first which I much preferred. The tutor was very knowledgeable, leading us through each step and made it fun.
• 4/5 from Sarah Eaton, attended Mar 2025: A lovely class, the teacher was friendly, approachable and had light hearted personality. She was clear in her instructions and we had a wonderful time. The only feedback I would give is to provide more support for the painters who are falling behind. The teacher/Artist should be checking up on everyone to make sure they are mostly upto date and do not fall behind too much, as this happened to me and it made me feel awkward around other Painters that I have only just meet. And it also made me feel panicked :)
