  • 5/5 from Emma Mayne, attended Oct 2026: We had a fantastic evening! It was the largest group of people I'd encountered at a BrushParty, but the venue was plenty big enough so we all had elbow-room. The tutor gave clear instructions and was attentive to questions - and had plenty of spare paint. Everyone came away happy with their canvas - quite an impressive herd of highland cows in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It wasn't the chattiest group of people (perhaps everyone was concentrating?) but everyone seemed happy and comfortable. And the pub staff and regulars were very welcoming.
  • 5/5 from Hayley Stant Jolly, attended Jul 2026: The art teacher was really helpful, clear in her teaching and fun. She taught at a really good pace. We had a lovely evening.
  • 5/5 from Caroline Ross, attended Jun 2026: This was a good one, but i did go of course with colour the parking at venue was limited
  • 5/5 from Elaine Andrews, attended Jun 2026: Good atmosphere, everyone having fun and at times, a laugh. These sessions are so good. As a beginner you will always learn a few things.
  • 4/5 from Donna-Marie, attended Jun 2026: This is the second of these types of thing my friend and I have attended. I enjoyed it and love what I created. Paints and water regularly topped up, proper canvas used and both ladies there were super lovely. Only thing I didn’t like was being so crammed in. There was very little room to move. Feel like it was over subscribed. Also the stands to hold the canvas dug in constantly causing marks and imprints on where it was painted. Also, not a fault of anyone but it was very hot and stuffy…. But we’ll be back, just at a different venue - also food at that pub was SO expensive!!
  • 3/5 from Pam Jardine, attended Jun 2026: Too big a group, too much background music. Very hot area. Difficult to see the instructor and the colours she was mixing due to the lighting
  • 5/5 from Maria, attended May 2026: It was a relaxing and fulfilling evening. I cannot believed how every single painting looked so professional. Highly recommended. I cannot wait to join again.
  • 5/5 from Penny Roche, attended May 2026: Such a lovely evening, the tutoring (is that the word?) was spot on, great results and a fab time had. Will be back

  • 5/5 from Sarah Millist, attended May 2026: A group of us went together as something special to do while socialising. I couldn't quite believe we would achieve a complete painting by the end of the evening, but the pace of instruction and guidance was excellent and we all left with a finished masterpiece! The atmosphere was great as we all had our drink of choice by our sides as well as good company.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Owens, attended May 2026: Wonderful teacher, great location, lovely painting. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing and everyone created a masterpiece of their own

  • 5/5 from John Nangle, attended Dec 2025: My wife, daughter and I had a great time at our first sip and paint event in Shepperton Red Lion this week. We were all very pleased with the results of our efforts painting We Three Gonks. The instructor was excellent and guided us well.
  • 5/5 from Karen Heath, attended Dec 2025: Fabulous night out with a friend before Christmas. The teacher was fabulous - I'm not artistic but through her step-by-step instruction and modelling, even I was able to create a fab painting of 3 Gonks in a snowy forest. Fab venue - The Red Lion, Shepperton. Loved that even I was able to create a piece of artwork
  • 5/5 from Georgina Owens, attended Dec 2025: so happy to complete my second gonk picture and very pleased with the results. Helen and David were both very helpful making it a smooth and fun evening
  • 5/5 from Elaine Cinquegrana, attended Nov 2025: If you think you can’t paint a picture, you certainly can at a Brush Party. Learning where to start, how to mix colours, brush strokes it’s all there! Clear instructions from the teacher and help is always given. Venue was good and the materials provided were really good. You get to meet other people and the atmosphere is great. A good fun night with friends.
  • 5/5 from Elea Tulloch, attended Nov 2025: Loved everything about the evening. Moved at a good pace. Learned a lot venue was great as you were away from the main area of the pub. Music was spot on and added to the occasion. Can we request paintings to be considered? In Uxbridge they did a lovely waterfall, is there any chance it could be done in Shepperton or Ascot?
  • 5/5 from Julie Donhou, attended Nov 2025: Really nice evening with a great teacher that made painting much easier than I expected
  • 5/5 from Georgina Owens, attended Nov 2025: Great location, lovely picture and wonderful teacher
  • 5/5 from Michele Turner Smith, attended Nov 2025: What a lovely evening! The atmosphere was fantastic with a great group of ladies, great mix of music in the background and a very supportive and helpful teacher. I will be back next month!
  • 5/5 from Louise Dethick, attended Oct 2025: A great night. Thank you Clare and Chase. Everyone very friendly. I found the painting a challenge but the ladies kept everything calm so we all had a very enjoyable evening.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2025: Really enjoyed the evening. Thought the teacher was great and the venue worked well. Felt the setup was a little squashed (had to have my mixing palette on my lap throughout the evening) but that didn’t spoil the enjoyment.
  • 5/5 from Georgina White, attended Aug 2025: Had a great time at the Brush party in the Red Lion this week! David, the teacher was really good: friendly, funny and patient, with instructions that were easy to follow. I think the painting we were re-creating was quite a difficult one to do justice to in the time allotted but it was a fun exercise and I’ll definitely be back.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Owens, attended Aug 2025: What a great new venue absolutely loved it, lots more here please. David and Chase did a fabulous job with a tricky but fun painting. Please can you stress for people to be on time it is so disrespectful to the rest of is who do get there on time!
  • 5/5 from Carol Anthony, attended Aug 2025: I’ve been to quite a few Brush Party events, but the one in Shepperton was definitely one of the best. The artist was fantastic – he explained every step clearly, took the time to show us how to use the brush properly, and even explained why certain techniques work. The pace was perfect, nice and steady, so everyone could follow along without feeling rushed. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and I came away with a nice painting. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Pam Soodi, attended Aug 2025: I have always wanted to attend a painting class. When i saw what we would be painting i just had to book this class! I was very nervous as it was in the evening and i had noone to go with, also not really going out much it made me anxious however i had the best time!!! Not only did i learn more about painting techniques, i got to take a beautiful painting home to hang up! I am so proud of myself and thankful to this class. I needn't not of been worried as the ladies were so wonderful and made me feel so welcome. We had such a laugh. It has given me such needed time away from caring for my mother which is a 24/7 role. Has given me the confidence to go out alone and do some things for myself. What a lovely location at the red lion shepperton right by the river! I cannot wait to book again.
