Paint and Sip Class - Eastern Bluebirds

The first of our "Abstract Birds" theme, distinctly recognisable, but in a different way. There will be other birds over the next few months.

A series of birds painted in an abstract and slightly surreal manner. Not quite Toulouse-Lautrec or Salvador Dali though.

At the end of the evening, you will take away your own personal masterpiece. The ticket price includes all materials and equipment, and you will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want.

It doesn’t matter in the least if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush for years because you will walk away with your own unique piece of artwork. Our resident artist will take you, step-by-step, through the process of turning your blank canvas into your own personal masterpiece. With a glass in one hand and a paintbrush (or a cotton bud) in the other, your skills will transfer painlessly to the canvas on your easel. So power up your inner Picasso and come and join us.

We provide everything that you need – a 35cm x 45cm canvas, easel, brushes, paints, aprons, music, and a great atmosphere where you can create to your heart’s content.

The ticket price includes all materials and equipment, and at the end of the evening, you will take away your own personal masterpiece. You will be able to purchase an optional frame for £15.00 if you want. Be warned, the setup of the venue does not lend itself to a full-scale meal while painting, but Tapas finger food is easily accommodated.

As well as being a social event, it is also a creative learning event, and it will show you techniques that will help you help your younger relatives come top of the class in art. You will trace in the bird outline, and then simply apply paint.

We’re only going to guide you; we’re not going to instruct you. If you want to do it your own way, then feel free – you can interpret our guidance in any way you like. It is great when people do their own thing; we love it when we learn a new way to do something.

The event starts at 6.30pm, but it helps if you arrive around 15 minutes early to grab a seat, grab a drink, and grab an easel. We start at 6.30pm and will definitely be finished by 9.30pm.

Although we provide aprons, it might be worth wearing old clothes (just in case).

Car Parking:
There is plenty of car parking in the grounds of Ego at The Flying Fox.

Absolutely no experience, knowledge, or skills are required at all. More than half of my attendees are first-timers. Definitely beginner-friendly.
  All materials and equipment are provided. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own completed and finished 35cm x 45cm masterpiece to take home and hang on their wall. Optional frames will be available for £15.00.

We now have our Amazing Artist scheme. We give you a card and we stamp it for every event you come to, including our day events. When you have 8 stamps, we give you your next Paint Night free. It is our way of saying thank you.

Optional frames are available for £15.00. Themselves and a smile, hopefully a friend (or two, or three).
Old clothes. Even though we provide aprons, it would be wise to wear old clothes.

This would also be a nice gift for her, gift for mum or birthday gift.
