- 5/5 from Fi Butler, attended Aug 2026: Good pace and great picture composition. I didn't like the non existent parking though!
- 5/5 from Julia May, attended Aug 2026: Painting woodland stream Brilliant teacher who despite a class of about 20 of us, managed to keep us all supported and happy Practical room but not peaceful as part of a very noisy pub Very happy with the result.
- 5/5 from Anna Michalik, attended Apr 2026: Jo was very patient and detailed with instructions. The class was relaxed and fun to attend.
- 4/5 from Sally Smith, attended Apr 2026: Lovely place, nice vibe. Good equipment, Jo was lovely. Overall we had a lovely time
- 5/5 from Laura Hayward, attended Mar 2026: Great evening! Can’t wait for the next one. Jo was so patient with all of us. She took the time to explain all the instructions and guide us step by step.
- 5/5 from Toni Cahill, attended Mar 2026: We painted Bluebell Wood tonight and I absolutely loved this one! I felt really relaxed and confident throughout, which just shows how much my skills have improved from attending Jo’s classes. Jo was a fantastic host as always — clear, encouraging, and great at guiding everyone step by step. The White Hart in Ampthill is the perfect venue too, very comfortable and welcoming. Another brilliant evening — already looking forward to the next one!
- 5/5 from Lyn Palmer, attended Mar 2026: Great fun from someone who has never painted before, highly recommend it!
- 4/5 from Karen Blomfield, attended Mar 2026: Lovely fun evening with some friends Jo’s instructions were clear enough for even someone like me with zero artistic talent to follow We had assumed as this was a ‘paint and sip’ class that a drink would be included but this is not the case. Not a problem but just to make others aware
- 5/5 from Leila Thornhill, attended Feb 2026: Jo was great. Explained everything well and helped us out when needed. We can’t wait to do another one.
- 5/5 from Marcia Rigby, attended Jan 2026: First time at a class and it was such fun! Went on my own but the group was so friendly and inclusive. Jo’s teaching skills were amazing and she had lots of patience. She circled the group giving plenty of hints. Never painted before this but definitely going to book another class! So proud of what I produced Thanks Jo
- 5/5 from Toni Cahill, attended Jan 2026: ⸻ Great class as usual with Jo! We attended the session yesterday, Thursday 15th January, at The White Hart in Ampthill. I’ve done quite a few classes with Jo now and have definitely learned so many painting skills along the way. Jo explains everything clearly and makes the sessions relaxed and enjoyable. Already looking forward to the next one!
- 5/5 from Jenna Clarke, attended Jan 2026: Jo was Brilliant. We enjoyed every moment of it. We will defo be back for another paint!
- 5/5 from Zoe Wood, attended Jan 2026: She was so helpful and created a lovely atmosphere.
- 5/5 from Lisa Saunders, attended Aug 2025: Jo is a great teacher, didn’t think I would manage to get this one looking half decent. Jo takes you through all stages of the painting & how to mix the paints to get the best colours & is on hand if you need some help. A great evening to clear your mind & just concentrate on your painting, a lovely relaxing class. A definite have a go, even if you’ve never done it before, try it you’ll surprise yourself. This painting was my second one & I’m really pleased with it.
- 5/5 from Louise Jarvis, attended Aug 2025: Jo leads such a lovely class. I always enjoy my Brush parties with her. So I highly recommend!
- 5/5 from Gabriela Newton, attended Aug 2025: Great class with Jo, as always. I will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks Jo
- 5/5 from Sonia Pritchard, attended Jun 2025: What an absolutely fabulous evening with Jo. She was so helpful with the process of booking, and on the actual evening she was so patient with us all. When I started with a blank canvas I didn’t think there was any chance of producing the Blossom Bay picture that was on display - BUT I DID. We all have our own little differences which is what made it so special. Absolutely amazing and will definite be booking in again.
- 5/5 from Jude Gilman, attended Jun 2025: Good friendly supportive tuition well organised. Nice venue all materials supplied a friendly bunch. Thank you
