  • 5/5 from Sam Mills, attended Sep 2026: Jo is so patient with everyone and makes each person feel seen and included in the class, nothing is too much for her to help and offer guidance to make your painting the best you can do. This is my 13th painting now and I think it’s one of my favourites
  • 5/5 from Yvonne Janes, attended Sep 2026: We painted 'Peek a Moo'. A stunning highland cow with gorgeous eyes. Jo was a fantastic teacher, friendly, gentle and encouraging. Lots of praises for our efforts. Comfortable venue. Nice sized group which meant we had space. Super group of ladies. Great fun. I love how we 'build' the painting, and how it all comes together. It is amazing how everyone's looks unique with their own style. It is not strict and you can add your own little bits, or use different colours. I took Michelle for her birthday treat. It was her first time and she loved it. We will definitely be back.
  • 5/5 from Kathryn Lee, attended Aug 2026: Jo was amazing. I attended the workshop on my own, Jo is very welcoming and very easy to talk to which is great. I learnt to paint the Warrior Elephant. First time I have ever done a elephant and the tutorial Jo gave was very easy to follow, if you get stuck or carried away, she is there to help and adjust any errors they may occur. Loved my session and will look forward to more in the future. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Lisa Clarke, attended Jul 2026: Husband vs wife at painting Great to learn getting depth and perspective of the overall picture. Jo was great and really helpful. It was a nice small group and we all had fun and a few laughs.
  • 5/5 from Suzanne Walton, attended Jul 2026: Wonderful atmosphere. Jo was very attentive, ensuring we could achieve the look we were aiming for. Greatly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Marie-Charlotte Joseph-Keefe, attended Jun 2026: Loved it, it was a present for my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed it! The only comments I would say is that I think the tutorial sped up quite a bit at the end but I think that's because it started late. Also more breaks would be beneficial as it's a long time to concentrate without mini breaks.
  • 4/5 from Michelle Hill, attended Jun 2026: Ran over by 30 mins and needed to leave cos of the dog, good session
  • 4/5 from Gillian Seath, attended Jun 2026: We started late and so finished late. Venue was good Teacher was good but I felt a bit rushed. All in all a good night out
  • 5/5 from Deb Perry, attended May 2026: Another fabulous evening with Jo. Friendly experienced teacher. The atmosphere was great. Happy with my Highland Fling.
  • 5/5 from Deb Perry, attended Apr 2026: Painted a version of my daughter’s cavapoo dog. Jo was her usual patient self. Always very positive and friendly.
  • 5/5 from Mellina Fc Williams, attended Mar 2026: It was a lot of fun to do this session and bring home the painting.
  • 5/5 from Kayleigh Everett, attended Feb 2026: My sister in law and I went to paint the girl with the balloon in heath and reach with Jo. It was my sister in laws first time, she really enjoyed it. I've been a few times but never with Jo. Great being taught how to blend and mix colours too. Didnt realise you could use your fingers for that. There was a problem with my canvas having a slight crease/holes all the way down. Didn't notice until I had started. Jo offered to change but I didn't want to start again. Jo was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Would go to her again.
  • 5/5 from Tina Cunnington, attended Nov 2025: Jo was lovely easy to follow The venue was good but quite small Being with friends and had a fun evening
  • 5/5 from Valerie Desborough, attended Oct 2025: Enjoyable evening and lovely picture to ‘try’ to copy. It was held at a good venue. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Mandy Kilby, attended Oct 2025: The art class run by Jo was great. The tiger was a lovely picture to paint and Jo is a fantastic and talented teacher. She is fun, bubbly and perfect at making sure everyone is following everything she is showing us. She is very happy to help anyone who is struggling with the picture and never rushes students who are a little slower. A really enjoyable evening.
  • 5/5 from Mrs Vicki Green, attended Sep 2025: A great teacher. Very easy to follow her tuition. Painted the moon with the hare. Materials all good. Nice venue but space was a bit tight in the room. The staff in the pub were very polite and helpful. First time in one of Jo’s classes but will be going to another class as she was so good.
  • 5/5 from Kaytie Darchambaud, attended Sep 2025: I loved everything about our evening and am so pleased with my “moon gazer “ painting …. Jo was an amazing teacher and it was very relaxed … my only tiny bit of criticism was that the room was very small (flying fox) so felt a bit squished in Thankyou Jo for a fantastic evening
  • 5/5 from Karen Shrimpton, attended Sep 2025: This was my first time doing this, totally out of my comfort zone but wanted to try it, plus loved the picture we was going to paint. Went on my own, but everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Jo was a fantastic teacher, making it easy to understand what to do with the mixing of the paint colours to brushstrokes. The venue was good but extremely hot, that was the only downside, otherwise it was really good. All materials provided, and seeing a blank canvas at the beginning of the night to actually coming home with a picture was the best experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to do another one soon.
  • 4/5 from Joanna Pollard, attended Sep 2025: Very enjoyable. A bit cramped! Overall I would do it again for sure!!
  • 5/5 from Emma Walker, attended Aug 2025: Great atmosphere, brilliant teacher who gave clear instructions and always willing to help. Easy to get more paint, new water etc. Venue was lovely although bit of a squeeze in the actual painting room.
  • 5/5 from Kelly B, attended Aug 2025: Had the best evening painting with Jo. Was an easy, step by step painting session to create a wonderful picture. I’ve learnt to trust the process. Thank you. Kelly x
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Aug 2025: We attended with friends and three out of the four of us had been to one before. The venue was a little tight on space teacher was not able to walk down and talk to people and it was difficult to see the painting to copy. The materials were great as normal and instruction was clear if a little slow. We all came away and loved our paintings of the Highland coo. Thanks
  • 4/5 from Amanda Bonnard, attended Aug 2025: Great night out and a lovely piece of art to come home with. My only negative for the evening was the venue. The space we had was so cramped I had no space to move, which limited my brush strokes.
