  £37 - £69 (£37 for 10x10cm / 10x5cm tile; £55 for 10x20cm tile; £69 for 20x20cm tile) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Discover beautiful motifs, flowing floral patterns, and timeless colours as you paint your own tile—a unique piece of art to take home—while sipping on traditional Turkish tea or hot sand-brewed aromatic coffee, paired with pieces of Turkish delight and pistachio-layered baklava.
Think of this as "time to switch off, get creative, and reconnect with yourself" rather than focusing on making a perfect piece of art. Creating art can be great for your well-being because it gives your mind a chance to slow down, focus, and express emotions.
A few benefits include:
  • Reduces stress — concentrating on colours, patterns, and movement can help quiet a busy mind.
  • Encourages mindfulness — being absorbed in the creative process can bring you into the present moment.
  • Builds confidence — finishing something you’ve created can give you a sense of achievement and pride.
  • Connects people — creative workshops offer an opportunity to share experiences with your loved ones and enjoy something fun together.
A little bit about the history of tile painting:
Inspired by the intricate Iznik artwork of the Ottoman Empire, tile painting has a rich history spanning centuries, with some of its most recognisable traditions developing across the world.
During the Ottoman Empire, particularly in the 16th century, the city of Iznik became famous for its beautifully hand-painted ceramic tiles. These tiles were used to decorate mosques, palaces, and important buildings, creating intricate walls filled with floral designs, flowing vines, and geometric patterns.
Come along, slow down, get creative, and discover the beauty of Ottoman-inspired art.
What you'll get

What I really want to highlight is that I opened my business a year ago, and the response from the community in Clifton has been amazing. People have embraced the authentic Turkish shop I’ve created, which brings a real taste of Turkey to Bristol.
My shop is not just a store; it’s a gateway to Turkish culture. The slogan of my shop, "Taste of Culture, " reflects this mission. When customers step inside, they should feel as if they are in the heart of Turkey, in one of its most famous historical sites like the Grand Bazaar. I’ve carefully curated every detail, including handpicked ceramics by Ottoman artisans, to give a true cultural experience.
I offer a truly authentic customer experience, including hot sand-brewed Turkish coffee, real gelatin-free Turkish delight, and freshly made homemade baklava. Each product is thoughtfully selected for its artisan craftsmanship, reflecting the traditional designs that date back more than 600 years to the Ottoman era. We continue to honor that legacy by creating the same timeless pieces today.
I also take great pride in being part of a family tradition of mosaic light-making, which has been passed down through three generations. In addition to selling these beautiful pieces, I also run mosaic light workshops in my shop or for business corporate events, where customers can create their own, giving them a hands-on experience of Turkish culture and craftsmanship.
Running this shop is not just about selling products; it’s about sharing the rich cultural heritage of Turkey with every customer. It’s an experience, not just a business, and I’m excited to continue bringing this unique cultural journey to your place.
