One-to-one Crochet Workshop

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a one-to-one and ask any questions you have about Crochet

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about crochet. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for crocheters looking for that next step on from our Beginners' Workshops, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a crochet pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Ellen Yeates, attended Jan 2024: A fantastic one-one crochet session. My teacher was kind and patient. She explained the instructions very carefully. With it being a one-one I could go at my own pace and ask specific questions. We were able to cover changing yarn, increasing and decreasing stitches, magic ring and working in the round. It was an extra treat to take away two balls of yarn and a crochet hook. I now have lots of techniques to revisit and practice. Excellent value for money, I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Pip Claridge, attended Aug 2023: I really enjoyed my workshop. Tracy (teacher) was knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. Yarn and a crochet hook were provided, which I hadn't expected, so that was a bonus and I took them home with me afterwards. I learned chain stitch plus single, double and treble crochet, and have managed to remember how to do it! I thought the class was really good value for money, and am looking forward to developing my new found skills. Thank you Tracy :)
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Tasie, attended Aug 2023: Tracy was brilliant. She knew what she was talking about and crocheted along with me so I could see what she was doing. I feel a lot more confident now about crocheting alone. Also, I was really impressed that I got 2 balls of yarn and 2 hooks that I wasn’t expecting to get.
