I’ve been teaching for the past six years, working with people of all ages, and I truly love being part of a creative community. I started running classes from my studio in London three years ago, and have recently moved to Bristol where I’ve set up a new space in Bishopston.
What I care about most is supporting people to move through their barriers around making art. I know how vulnerable it can feel to create, especially if you’re not feeling confident, so I aim to offer a space that’s encouraging, open, and explorative. I teach a range of techniques to help everyone find their own creative voice, and with small groups of up to four students, there’s plenty of time for individual support and guidance.
Alongside teaching, I’m a contemporary emerging artist and have exhibited in galleries across the UK and in Spain. My practice spans sculpture, drawing, and painting, and I love sharing that breadth of knowledge with my students. I’ll always gently push you towards your full potential, while keeping a strong focus on the joy and playfulness of making.
I also co-host a podcast called The Healthy Artist, where we talk about building a positive, sustainable relationship with creativity in a world that often pulls us away from it. Alongside this, I mentor artists in developing their practice, rebuilding confidence, and reconnecting with the joy of creating, as well as hosting online painting clubs for both figurative and abstract artists.
