Oceanic Woodstore is based in the heart of Newhaven, East Sussex. We make unique one off furniture from reclaimed wood and combine with resin art to make something truly unique.

We find that wood is the natural antidote to modern day, and AI. It truly calms the soul and resets people when they experience our handmade products.

The founder is Jim Callender, a 50 something dad living and working in Brighton, Sussex. When Jim is not working with wood, he loves trail running, and cycling around the beautiful South Downs and walking many of the wild Sussex beaches with his family.

Making a full time career from his passion of woodworking – which brings him incredible wellbeing on a day to day basis, and also satisfaction from seeing the many customers enjoying the products that he makes by hand in his Brighton workshop, the Printwerks.
