I learned so much from where to place adjustments to what kinds of patterns work best with different kinds of adjustments. Jacki is patient and so helpful and answered questions I didnt even know I had! If you have curves that you want to show off and make look great in your knits this class is a great tool.

I learned SO much and feel more excited than ever to now go and make my knits fit better. Jackie not only taught the concepts of HOW to adjust your knitting but she also explained how that adjustment then looks on your body, including showing examples from her own knitwear. A MUST attend class for any busty knitter!

• 5/5 from Hope Love, attended Aug 2023: Jackie leveled the workshop instruction to the specific expertise in the room (and we ranged from designer colleagues to intermediate knitter) and her methodology was immediately applicable for me---even on a sweater with a pattern on the front. Much better fits from patterns that used to hang on me. The workshop contained some last pieces of understandings which supported a shift in my final products: I am now knitting sweaters that look like they were handmade for me, not just handmade by me. Craftwear to couture in a few easy hacks. And she explained the technique so clearly that I can also intuit how to apply the same sizing shifts in other categories of build. Worth every penny and minute of my time the workshop required.

I'm not blessed with a fuller bust, but I learned so much about the common issues that knitting patterns can have for bustier people. There were great examples of how to apply shaping techniques to a host of different garments and a great discussion at the end. I've not put any learnings into practice yet, but knowing I can go back and access the slides in the future is a valuable resource!

Jacki provides a class that is structured enough to cover everything that needs covering, but also casual/fluid enough to allow for questions and discussion, all whilst being clear, personable, and funny. This class works for both knitters and designers and I can't wait to start using what i've learnt from her classes! I can't recommend these classes enough, thank you!!

It's one thing to read a pattern and the instructions for shaping but it doesn't explain what is happening or help you use the ideas elsewhere. Jacki gave clear descriptions and explanations, and did a great job of answering all questions. I now feel confident in studying a pattern and adapting it (or at least having a go) for myself. I will, however, be trying one of Jacki's patterns with the instructions included first.

Getting comfortable with lace techniques requires confidence and Jacki empowers you with that by the ton - she simplifies the terminology and provides working examples to demonstrate the techniques. I attended to give me a boost to give it a try and I've since knitted a lace cardigan! Fantastic workshop, would highly recommend.

Although there was a clear structure to the class, she was very adaptable to our needs, spending longer on the bits that were new to us and really taking the time to answer our queries, demonstrating if necessary. My favourite thing about it was that I was left with the sense that I am actually capable of knitting much more ambitious things than I realised because theres loads I can do with the fairly basic skills I have.
