Neurographic Art Workshop

A new form of art that helps bring together the conscious and subconscious in a meditative way

3 hours Class size 5 to 15     label £20

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a totally unique piece of art through neurographic art. This art form, invented by a Russian Psychologist, has a therapeutic effect that works with your subconscious mind. By drawing freeform lines, you can transfer fear, chaos, and stress into something more calming and peaceful. It's a wonderful way to meditate and relax.

Don't worry if you have no experience in painting or art at all. This workshop is suitable for everyone, regardless of their artistic abilities. It's about letting things come together in an abstract way, creating art that blends your conscious and subconscious mind.

Using watercolour, pencils, and fine line pens, we will explore the different branches of Neurographic Art. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with different paint techniques and find a style that truly expresses who you are.

In a world filled with straight lines and hard structures, this art form allows us to soften the edges of our thinking and experience life in a more fluid and creative way.

Throughout the workshop, you'll enjoy a relaxing and fun atmosphere, with plenty of teas and coffees to keep you refreshed. All materials will be provided on the day, so you can simply focus on unleashing your creativity.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a unique piece of art to take home, created from the depths of your own subconscious mind. Allow yourself to experience the transformative power of neurographic art and discover a new way to express yourself without any limitations.

I have been a crafter for as long as I can remember, it's definitely a family thing, my mother, grandmother and great grandmother were all crafters. I believe we are all born with a tiny seed of creativity, luckily for me it was nurtured throughout my upbringing.

I love creating and making - transforming beads, wool, cord etc into wonderful and unique creations! It's therapeutic and soothes my soul! The next best thing is passing on this knowledge through teaching.

I started teaching crafting around 2013/2014, initially Beadweaving and quickly became an international bead designer (see Dragonfly Designs UK) and as time went on I incorporated my other crafts, Needlefelting, Weaving, Wetfelting, Wool Spinning, Macrame, Crochet, knitting, Fluid Art - and still have more I want to discover.

I live and work 5 minutes from the ocean under the name 'Happy Ever Crafter' which is located on the Swansea Bay coast in South Wales, UK. Being so close to the ocean, national parks and mountains really sparks my creativity.
