You'll spend the session experimenting with an array of materials – including layering inks, watercolours, acrylics, and oil pastels – to see how they interact on the page.Your teacher, Martha, will lead you through short, step-by-step demonstrations to show you how to work intuitively. You'll discover the secrets of complementary colour combinations and the beautiful effects created by layering paper shapes and stencilling. With only six people in each class, you'll have plenty of individual guidance and a supportive environment to help you feel confident as you play with different techniques.Everything you need is provided for you, from the professional materials to the tea, coffee, and biscuits, so you can simply show up and enjoy a low-pressure creative break.
