Natural Candle Making Workshop

Whether you're on the lookout for some unique handmade gifts for someone close to you or you're keen to create some unique homewares of your own, this candle making class is a brilliant choice. You'll be working with scent experts Ben & Louise at Bouclé, who hand-pour their candles in East London and Brighton. The two have spent years sourcing the perfect all-natural ingredients to pour candles which do not contain any synthetic wax, fragrance or colours.

This workshop is for beginners and you will receive full guidance from Ben & Louise. All levels of ability are welcome, all you need is a good nose and a sense of fun! On arrival you will have an introduction to Bouclé, sustainability in candle making, wax types, fragrance types, wick types and essential oils covering base, mid & top notes, over a glass of Prosecco or orange juice and nibbles.

You will then develop your very own exclusive blend working out the perfect ratios to create a balanced all natural scent. Once you have developed your scent you will then use it to scent your own batch of soy wax candles, made with vegetable wax dipped cotton wicks and pour them into amber glass apothecary style jars.

You will also learn how to prepare your vessel, measure out your unique fragrance blends & pour your candles to bring your scent to life!

Please note: You will need to collect your candles once they are set from the space the next day or we can post them out to you for an additional £4.

Beginner friendly class, we will offer certain recipes which you can use, or edit or develop a completely new one depending on your confidence and experience.
