What you'll do
Take home a beautifully framed piece of botanical art at this hands-on pressed flower workshop in London.Designed especially with parents in mind, this relaxed, baby-friendly workshop is a chance to get creative while spending time with your little one. Play mats and toys will be provided so babies can play and relax while you create a timeless pressed flower keepsake featuring your baby's initial, beautifully framed to treasure for years to come.During this creative workshop in Kidbrooke, you'll discover the timeless art of flower pressing and learn how delicate blooms and foliage are carefully preserved before being transformed into botanical artwork.You'll then choose from a beautiful selection of pressed flowers and foliage to create your own composition. Experiment with colours, shapes, and textures, taking your time to arrange the flowers around your baby's initial before carefully securing everything in place.To finish, you'll frame your completed piece, ready to hang or display at home.All materials are provided, including pressed flowers, foliage, tools, glue, and your frame, so there's nothing to bring but yourself, your little one, and a willingness to get creative.By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of handmade botanical art – a beautiful keepsake celebrating your baby and a lovely reminder of time spent creating something with your own hands.

Hello, I'm Sophie, the founder of Bagatelle Florals.Originally from Paris, I've always had a deep love of flowers, scenography and hospitality. My passion for flowers began in childhood, watching my grandmother tend her cut flower garden and create beautiful arrangements for her home. Those memories continue to inspire everything I do today.I believe that surrounding ourselves with creativity and beauty can enrich everyday life, and flowers have a unique way of bringing joy into the home.Before becoming a florist, I spent over ten years designing and building luxury private gardens across Europe. This experience gave me a strong understanding of seasonality, colour, composition and planting, which now informs my floral designs. I'm a City & Guilds-certified florist and I am proud to have recently collaborated on a Chelsea in Bloom window display that was awarded a Gold Medal.I love teaching because I know how rewarding it is to learn a new skill. In a world that's becoming increasingly digital, there's something incredibly special about creating something beautiful with your own hands. My workshops are designed to be relaxed, creative and welcoming, giving you the confidence to explore floristry while enjoying a mindful, inspiring experience.I look forward to welcoming you to a workshop and sharing my love of seasonal flowers with you.
