Hi, I’m Monika... founder of Finch & Thimble Floral Design.

By day I’m a qualified teacher and SENCo, and by heart I’m completely obsessed with flowers. I hold a Diploma in Design and Floristry and have spent years running creative sessions, from school art clubs to workshops in London with The Creation Station, so helping people feel confident making something beautiful is very much my thing.

My workshops are relaxed, welcoming and genuinely beginner-friendly. I break everything down into simple steps, and I love that moment when someone looks at their finished piece and says, “Wait… I actually made that.”

Whether it’s a dried or faux flower crown, a wild wreath, or something seasonal, you’ll leave with something you’re proud of, and probably a few new skills too. And if it’s a hen party or evening session? Expect good music, good chat and maybe a little bit of prosecco involved.
