This beginner's workshop gives you an understanding of the basics so that you can succeed in creating eye-catching calligraphy and towards the end of the session you'll create some greeting cards for you to give to friends or family.

• The differences between calligraphy and cursive.
• How to hold your brush pen.
• How to create the basic calligraphy strokes.
• How to connect the letters.
• How to put these together to form the alphabet in a calligraphic style.
• Doodles to decorate white space.
• Some greeting card designs.

• Brush pen, some blank greetings cards and a workbook that you'll work with during the event.
