Not only will it let you create dazzling greeting cards or tags, but it'll improve your handwriting skills and give you a creative outlet to focus your mind.This beginner's workshop gives you an understanding of the basics so that you can succeed in creating eye-catching calligraphy and towards the end of the session you'll create some greeting cards for you to give to friends or family.Your friendly tutor will be on hand throughout the session to give you plenty of support, and you'll enjoy some cake and a cuppa to keep you going! You'll leave full of newfound skills and with your gorgeous handmade cards to take home.In this workshop, you'll learn:
- The differences between calligraphy and cursive.
- How to hold your brush pen.
- How to create the basic calligraphy strokes.
- How to connect the letters.
- How to put these together to form the alphabet in a calligraphic style.
