Mixed Media Art Workshop

In this three-hour workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of mixed media techniques and create your very own 8" x 10" mounted piece of artwork. Whether you're a beginner or someone with more experience looking to develop your skills, this workshop is suitable for all levels.

During the workshop, you'll have the chance to explore different artists' work for inspiration, experiment with layout designs and composition, and learn about color palettes and balance. We will delve into various mixed media techniques, including collage, creating texture with modelling paste, adding color with distress inks, and even incorporating stitch and text/phrases into your artwork.

If you've attended a previous Gelli Print workshop, this is the perfect opportunity to further develop your Gelli prints. However, if you haven't, feel free to bring along any images of your own, such as photographs or magazine cutouts, that you would like to work with.

Our experienced instructor, Clare, will guide you through the workshop, offering support and expertise to help you achieve your desired results. This workshop also provides a safe and encouraging environment for beginners, so don't be afraid to join us and explore your creativity.

Please note: This workshop is designed to build upon previous Gelli Plate print workshops with Clare, but attendees are welcome to join and bring their own images to work with.
