Discover the art of decorating your own miniature ceramic vase using a mix of creative mixed-media techniques in this hands-on ceramics workshop in London. Whether you're drawn to painterly vintage florals, medieval-inspired European finishes, textured contemporary art or elegant gilded details, you'll learn how to build up layers to create a decorative piece that's entirely your own.
In this relaxed session, you'll explore a range of techniques including acrylic painting, decoupage, mixed media, metallic finishes, spray paints and imitation gold leaf. You'll be encouraged to experiment with colour, texture and composition to create a vase that looks handcrafted, artistic and full of character.
With plenty of examples and guidance along the way, you'll leave with a beautifully finished miniature vase – perfect for displaying dried flowers, using as a decorative piece, or gifting to someone special.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a one-of-a-kind vase that reflects your own style, along with a versatile set of mixed-media techniques you can carry forward into future creative projects.
