Looking for a fun, creative activity that's ideal to share with a few friends for a crafty catch-up? Come join your talented teacher Ali for a fabulous day of book making. Learn how to create one sheet wonders, such as a maze book, as well as fun accordion books, piano hinge books, and books with secret pockets!
These fun books make perfect mini journals to help keep you organised, photo gift books that'll give all your precious memories a home, or would be ideal for small scrapbooking projects. Over the course of six hours, you'll learn all the skills and techniques you need to make your own mini library to take home with you.
Don't fret if this is your first time trying the heritage craft of bookbinding, as you'll have the full support of your knowledgeable host throughout the class, who'll make sure your efforts are a real turn-out for the books! You'll leave the class with an armful of tiny tomes to take home with you, plus all your newfound skills that'll serve you well for future projects.
I am a qualified teacher, with a passion for all things crafty. I teach a bit of everything, from book binding, mixed media, glass fusing, paper crafts and much more. I believe everyone can be creative and have a strong belief in sharing creativity and encouraging everyone to take part. I also like to focus on sustainable, recycled and eco-friendly crafts.
I was also runner-up in the International Craft Awards for the workshops I run.
