What you'll do
Mexican food is a fusion of exciting ingredients and spices. Learn to cook Mexican food at this hands-on cooking class and add to your repertoire with some tasty Mexican dishes.
This cooking class focuses on teaching you a range of Mexican methods of preparing and cooking fresh salsas, cuts of meat, seasonal vegetables and fish. You'll be taught the basics of Mexican cookery and discover the extensive use of traditional spices and herbs in Mexican cuisine.
You'll be taught by a qualified chef with many years of experience so get ready to soak up lots of useful tips! You'll learn in a fun and informal environment and you'll be taken through each recipe step by step.
This is a hands-on cooking class with your instructors available to assist you throughout your workshop.
The dishes you cook in this class vary. A typical menu includes:
- Haevous ranchos
- Enchiladas - stuffed tortillas baked with cheese and meat (mild or hot).
- Guacamole and salsas – you'll never use shop-bought salsas again!
- Churros with chocolate – a sweet dessert.
You'll eat or take home everything you make so get ready for a Mexican feast to remember!
If you have any dietary requirements, please let your teacher know when you book.
It is not essential to book as a pair. Individuals are welcome to book onto this lesson but must be aware that this class requires you to work in pairs and you maybe paired up with another individual for duration of the class. This is an adult lesson and not suitable for children under the age of 13 years.
