Medium Rug Tufting Workshop

No experience is necessary for this rug tufting class! Even if you've never seen a tufting gun before, the experienced and supportive teachers from Ell-Squared are on hand to share their top tips. This Liverpool activity could be the perfect way to fill your day with creativity for a birthday party or team activity.

Two friendly faces will be guiding you through this colourful journey into the world of rug making. Working as a team to help you feel confident going from complete beginner to hands-on rug making with all the tools and materials provided.

There is allocated time for planning your designs; utilise projectors for precision or draw directly onto your canvas if that suits your creative style better. Your tutors are there to assist in bringing your dream rug to life with their collection of past work examples and vibrant imaginations.

You'll craft a 90cm x 90cm tufted wonder that will be backed, carved, and ready to take home on the same day. Display options include using it as floor decor, table embellishment or wall hanging. This class offers a large canvas which means you can go further with your tufted masterpiece. You can add intricate designs, more yarn colours and greater depth.

By the end of this class, you will have a newfound love for tufting, as well as a personalised rug that's yours to keep - an excellent keepsake from this fun thing to do in Liverpool!

Please note:
On booking you will be asked to give an idea of what rug you'd like to make and six yarn colours you'd like to use. You can also decide on the day with your teachers.

Beginner -- you’ll be a rug-tufting pro by the end of the session!
  All materials and equipment needed to create your 90x90cm rug which will be backed and carved for you to take home on the day.

Please keep in mind that you must submit your design at least one day before your workshop so that your workstation can be set up for you.
