If you're keen to explore your creativity and want to feel more at home with yourself, come along to this mandala drawing workshop and enjoy a meditative, purposeful art experience.
In the ancient Sanskrit language of Hinduism and Buddhism, mandala means “circle.”
Traditionally, a mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. Creating a mandala is a form of ‘artistic meditation’, which involves a careful, quiet, prayerful kind of attention, helping you:
  • Feel more balanced and centred in yourself
  • Be a bridge between your conscious and unconscious self
  • Improve concentration and develop mindfulness
  • Enhance your sense of awareness and perception of shapes and patterns
In this beginner-friendly drawing workshop, you'll learn how to create a mandala design using geometry, with the traditional tools of a compass, straight-edge, pencil and pen.
In your journey of creating beautiful art, you extend your curiosity outwards from the centre and inwards within yourself. The process is in itself a wonderful metaphor for Life's journey: How we navigate pathways and intersections, follow lines of interest, pause to step back and contemplate the whole, and trust the gradual unfolding without knowing the end result.
So come join in for a surreal experience, which is fun and engaging over a cup of coffee!
This workshop is held in a beautiful cafe, where you can purchase coffee or tea of your choice at additional cost! (Optional)
So come and join me for a beautiful meditative experience!

Hi, I am Ekta, the founder of StoryBeyondLines.
Storybeyondlines was conceptualized, aimed at bringing the traditional & spiritual art to the world. To promote art which not only brings joy to people, but also has soothing and transformative effects on ones’ energy, has been a key theme of Storybeyondlines.
A self-taught artist, I have had a deep inclination for art since childhood and have been creating artwork since more than a decade.
Over the years, I realised that I wanted to bring to the world the art that would make someone feel connected to his/her spiritual energy. And therefore my passion for the mandala art grew and she took to my calling to bring forward this art work to a wider audience.
With numerous workshops to my side, i host curated events, retreats and work on commissioned art-works. Have exhibited at the cultural wing of the Indian High Commission in London, and now i am deeply rooted to expressing and bringing forward this beautiful art form across borders.
I Have been featured on BBC Sunday Morning Live, where I spoke, about Mandala Art and its benefits in healing and relieving stress.
