Discover the magic of hand-printing your own design onto fabric, then transform it into a beautiful, glowing lampshade you’ll be proud to light up your home.
Spend a joyful day exploring the art of block printing, guided by your skilled tutor. You’ll carve your own printing block from scratch—no prior experience needed! Whether you’d like to sketch your own motif or choose from a collection of ready-to-use templates, you’ll leave with a unique design all your own. Start with test prints on paper, then make your mark on premium calico fabric.
Once your fabric is printed and admired, it’s time to craft: you’ll learn how to carefully assemble your fabric into a stunning 20 cm x 18 cm drum lampshade—perfect for a bedside table, craft nook, or cosy corner.
And the creativity doesn’t end when you leave! Take home not just your handmade lampshade, but also your carved block and the know-how to keep printing in your own studio or kitchen table. If you want to bring anything extra to print onto, bring it along!
The day runs from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. With only 8 spots available, it’s the perfect chance to connect, create, and make.
