Make a Quilted Christmas Tree Skirt

Always wanted to give quilting a go but weren't sure where to start? Why not come along to this fun and friendly quilting course and soak up the Christmas spirit as you quilt a special skirt for your tree?

Spend a lovely two days in a bespoke quilting studio in the beautiful village of Chipping Sodbury as you create a one-of-a-kind tree skirt – the ultimate Christmas keepsake.

This two-day quilting experience promises to delight both beginner and intermediate crafters – and will be full of guidance, support, and of course, festive fun!

During the course, you will learn step-by-step how to make an enchanting patchwork quilt skirt that will spruce up your tree with some handmade goodness. Made with an array of fabrics handpicked by you, you'll have the best-dressed tree around!

Quilting course itinerary:

• Day One: You will make your tree's unique patchwork skirt and leave it at the studio.
• Day Two: After being professionally quilted by Natalie, you will cut and add binding to the skirt, before finishing it off and taking it home with you.

• If you would like to make a Christmas tree skirt and the listed dates don't suit you, please contact the host.
• Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time.
• Let your hosts know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements, so they can make sure you are catered for and feel right at home!

• You will be supplied with a printed pattern, instructions, wadding and backing fabric to make the skirt.
• Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and biscuits.

• As colours are down to preference, patchwork fabrics will not be included, although there will be a small selection of kits available for purchase. You will be emailed a list of requirements.
• A packed lunch or money to buy food from the nearby high street.
