Make a Plant Stake - Stained Glass Workshop

Join this stained glass flower workshop in Wavertree and learn how to create a beautiful, handcrafted plant stake to brighten up your home. Based at a lovely studio in Wellington Yard, this session is perfect for beginners looking to try a unique craft in a supportive, small-group environment.During this hands-on class, you'll be guided through each step of the process with plenty of help from your teacher. With a maximum of six people per session, you'll have all the support you need to master the techniques safely. You will learn:

• The application and burnishing of silver-backed copper foil to pre-cut stained glass flower petals
• How to assemble and solder each glass piece together to create your plant stake topper
• How to add the stake securely

We'll cover all the essential health and safety precautions throughout the day, and we provide all the materials and protective equipment you need. It’s a low-pressure way to switch off from the daily grind and focus on making something one-of-a-kind with your own two hands.You'll finish the session with a newfound appreciation for this traditional artisan craft and a charming glass flower to take home. It’s a wonderful way to spark your creativity and leave with a handmade keepsake that will add a permanent splash of colour to your favourite indoor plant.Please note:

• Due to the use of lead and chemicals involved in this workshop, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate pregnant women.
• We have a no smoking policy onsite.
• No alcohol can be consumed on the premises or during workshop breaks. Treat yourself to something with bubbles later to celebrate what you’ve created.
• We are on the ground floor, but our bathroom is not fully accessible.

• Use of all equipment, materials, and tuition needed to hand-make your own plant stakes are provided.
• Gloves, safety mask, and goggles are also provided.
• Complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, and biscuits are provided throughout the session.
