Luxetreats is a premier luxury bakery located in the heart of Sittingbourne, Kent.Founded by Rashida, Luxetreats is a luxury bakery business born out of love, legacy, and a bit of lockdown magic.My journey with baking began in childhood, watching my mum run her own cake business from our home. The smell of freshly baked cakes and the joy they brought to others was something that always stuck with me. Baking quickly became a family tradition - especially around Christmas - and it was our way of showing love, creating memories, and making people smile.In 2020, during the lockdown, I baked a birthday cake and cupcakes for my sister. That one act reignited my passion, and I haven’t looked back since. That was the pivotal moment that turned my love for baking into something bigger - Luxetreats was born, and with it, a mission to turn simple bakes into meaningful, luxury experiences.Why do I love teaching? Because I know firsthand how empowering it is to create something with your own hands. I’ve taught countless students, from absolute beginners to fellow bakers wanting to refine their skills. Nothing compares to the excitement on someone’s face when they nail their first cake stack or sell their first bake! I’m here to demystify baking and help others grow with confidence.A fun fact most people don’t know? Baking is part science, part soul. The same recipe can taste completely different when made with love, and I always bake with love. That’s why so many of my customers say Luxetreats bakes feel like a warm hug in dessert form.I’ve had the honour of running corporate team-building workshops, teaching private classes, and creating content that has helped other bakers grow their businesses. While I don’t have a culinary degree, I’ve spent thousands of hours learning, experimenting, failing, and perfecting -and that lived experience is what I bring into every class.Whether you’re here for the treats or the teaching, thank you for being part of this sweet journey with me.
