  • 5/5 from Sarah, attended Aug 2026: This is the perfect introduction to a really fun craft. Mags was a great host, knowledgeable and friendly, as she gently lead us through the evening. It felt relaxing and easy to follow, and I made so much more progress than I would have if left to my own devices, and now have the confidence (and ideas) to try more. Thank you so much!

  • 5/5 from Kate Morris, attended Apr 2026: Everything we needed was sent out in advance, Mags showed and explained what we needed to do really clearly then out on some music for us to craft to. I had a really enjoyable evening and am inspired to do more.
  • 5/5 from Victoria Haynes, attended Mar 2026: Such a lovely way to spend a relaxing evening at home! I learned a lot, and I love how the class was broken up into a little bit of history, practical tips on using the tools and actual designing and carving. The dual camera was a really thoughtful touch and meant we could see exactly what Mags was doing - she also put on some relaxing lo-fi music and did a carving along with us. Great class if you fancy doing something different in the evening but don’t want to commit to going out. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Seta Toroyan, attended Mar 2026: A great way to spend an evening; very informative and helpful.
  • 5/5 from Francesca Farnell, attended Feb 2026: Mags very expertly led us through our workshop. She was really graceful with members of our group who needed a bit of extra support and happy to help them find compromises that worked for them, while also giving other members of the group freedom to explore at their own pace. It was especially good that our kits contained different mediums and multiple postcards so we could make several unique prints and diversify our designs each time. Really a light and meditative evening, thanks so much Mags!

  • 5/5 from Johanna S, attended Jan 2024: I loved this workshop! Mags explained everything very clearly and detailed, while still leaving plenty of time to try things out for yourself. This is the perfect online workshop that works alone or for a group, and depending on how big your designs are, the kit contained enough materials to have another go after the workshop!

Hi, I’m Mags, a designer, printmaker, and educator based in London. I run Galley, my creative studio where I make handprinted cards, art prints, and stationery inspired by colour, craft, and slow living.
My background is in graphic design, but I fell in love with lino printing; the rhythm of carving, inky hands, the satisfying reveal of each print. Now I also teach others how to create their own pieces, combining design thinking with traditional printmaking techniques.
Join me for one of my relaxed, hands-on sessions where we carve, print, and enjoy the process of making something beautifully imperfect, one print at a time.
