In this engaging lino printmaking class, you will discover the art of traditional lino cutting techniques. You will learn how to design your image, skilfully cut it out, and then see the magic unfold as you print it onto cards and tags.
No need to worry if you're new to this activity. This workshop is designed for beginners, so you'll feel fully supported every step of the way. The class is aimed at adults and not suitable for under 18s.
  • The class will guide you through designing, cutting, and printing.
  • You'll have the opportunity to create 10 charming handmade Christmas cards and tags.
  • All materials are included, making it hassle-free for you to dive right in.
Working with the materials, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised by the joy that comes from creating something truly unique with your own hands. The process can be both meditative and stimulating, providing a sense of accomplishment as you watch your creations come to life.

The workshop is non-refundable or transferable once payment has been received.
The workshop is upstairs above Face Facts Aesthetics on Park View. Note: the workshop is held upstairs with no lift access.

Re-Create today was set up in 2016 and the aim was to create a safe and fun environment to offer a range of sewing and crafting inspired workshops. We run our workshops on the first floor premises of 62-64 Park View in Whitley Bay. We host and run workshops, courses and weekly groups. I have personally been running sewing and textile workshops for over eight years now. Our courses are run over a four week period for two and a half hours each week. Materials are included in our courses. The courses are aimed at absolute beginners. Mental Health is very important and our workshops enable the attendees to be mindful and focus on the task in hand. This enables them to be present and for a short time forgot about the daily stresses of the outside world.
