Feeling artistic and looking for new things to do in Brighton? Grab a pencil and sketch up a storm with this fun life drawing class from Cult Milk!

During this fun workshop, you'll learn to draw a mix of unclothed and clothed models with costumes and props, starting with a range of quick poses of a few minutes leading into some longer 10 and 20 minute poses. There's even a clay modelling round!

You'll receive all the materials you need to let your creativity run wild, including paper and a drawing board, oil pastels, pencils, charcoal, chunky black marker pens, crayons, air drying clay and poster paints. Sit back and sip on your chosen drink as you enjoy a guided experience where you're free to draw and mark-make as you please.

Talented teacher Amy will keep the flow going and keep the energy playful, with the poses accompanied by music and aromatherapy to awaken all the senses and a short break to admire your group's work and refresh your drink at the bar.

I started Cult Milk in 2015 as a way of putting on events to showcase female artists. It was all about creating a supportive non-judgemental space with incredible women.

Over the years Cult Milk has naturally evolved to be a person driven company where the focus is on inclusive creative workshops and community. Something I passionately love about my work is the array of different people I get to meet, though no matter how lovely and successful they are in their own field of work I often hear the phrase: "I won't be any good at this because I'm not creative." There is a common misbelief that we learn at school - if you're not 'good' at drawing then you're not creative. Creativity can be found in everyone. We are born with a sense of exploration and play and it's my job to encourage people to rediscover that joy in themselves, regardless of their age.
