Join this leather jewellery workshop in Dunblane and enjoy a weekend of hands-on making with S.K. Works, a local multidisciplinary studio.
During this creative session, you'll work with high-quality leather to master core techniques such as:
  • Cutting your leather – Gain precision and control with traditional hand tools.
  • Shaping and finishing – Learn how to refine your pieces for a professional look.
  • Creative design approaches – Explore different surface treatments to make your collection unique.
  • Assembly – Discover how to combine leather elements with sterling silver findings to ensure your work is refined and durable.
There’s a wonderful focus on resourceful making throughout the day, as you'll be using carefully selected off-cuts and surplus leather. It's a low-pressure environment where you'll feel supported every step of the way, whether you're a first-timer or have some experience with crafts. You'll work with British-sourced leather and eco-conscious supplies, ensuring your new hobby is as sustainable as it is fun.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have gained the confidence to continue your craft at home and you'll leave with a small collection of bespoke earrings. It's a fantastic way to switch off and find your flow, resulting in beautiful, wearable keepsakes that are completely one of a kind.
Please note: The class runs from 10am – 4pm, but please leave 30 minutes of buffer time in case the session runs over.
