Discover the art of leather crafting in our workshops, where you can create a unique, handcrafted leather item and elevate it with one or two carefully selected pieces of upcycled Louis Vuitton canvas. Each piece is thoughtfully integrated into the design, allowing you to personalise your item while giving new life to existing materials.
Participants may choose to create any item offered in our standard workshops, including:

  • Card Holder
  • Small Card Holder
  • Passport Holder
No prior experience is required. You will receive full guidance from the instructor at every stage of the process, from material selection to final finishing.
The session lasts between three and five hours, depending on the item and design complexity, with breaks scheduled every couple of hours. Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during these intervals.
Throughout the workshop, you will learn essential leather-working techniques, including punching, cutting, edging, skiving, burnishing, stitching, finishing, embossing, and the careful integration of canvas into leather designs. These skills will empower you to create a refined, durable piece with confidence and precision.
The workshop takes place within a 10-minute walk from Eltham train station and a 15-minute walk from Mottingham train station.
We use only high-quality, ethically sourced, full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, including cow leather from Derbyshire, UK; goat leather from France, valued for its elegance and durability; and kangaroo leather from a Derbyshire tannery, known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The Louis Vuitton canvas used in this workshop is authentic, upcycled material, repurposed from pre-existing items. This workshop is not affiliated with or endorsed by Louis Vuitton.

Hi there! I’m Naoum, and I’m so excited to share the joy of leather crafting with you.
I first picked up leatherworking during the Covid lockdown, and it didn’t take long before I was hooked. Back home in Aleppo, I was always into crafts, especially through my scout group, and teaching others how to make things brought me so much happiness. When I moved to London, I wanted to recreate that magic, and leather crafting was the perfect fit for a small space and big creativity.
In my workshops, you’ll make your own one-of-a-kind leather item. I’ll provide everything, tools, materials, and guidance, and you’ll get to add your own personal touches, like embossing. Whether it’s your first time crafting or you’re already handy, we’ll have a great time creating together.
