If you have a sewing machine but only use the straight stitch, then this could be the workshop you've been waiting for!

Perfect for beginners and improvers who are yet to explore the full capability of their machines, this class will build your confidence with a sewing machine. You'll get plenty of guidance from your teacher and pick up loads of new tips and tricks to take home and use again and again.

General sewing techniques and tricks of the trade are a big focus during this hands-on workshop, and you'll be learning alongside your fellow crafters in a small group. There is plenty of time to ask questions, get personal feedback, and make friends with your fellow sewing stars.

This sewing workshop includes:

  • Getting to know your machine – what are all the dials/buttons/switches for?
  • Machine presser feet and what they are used for
  • Sewing machine needles and what they are used for
  • Threading your machine and winding bobbins correctly
