Hello!Welcome to my ClassBento workshops. I teach lampwork glassblowing and fused glass classes from my spacious workshop at Rockaway Park, Somerset.My love of glass began when I was offered a nannying job in Venice. I spent days walking around the mazes of streets exploring the glass galleries and watching glassblowers work in Murano. When I returned, I accepted a job in a North Norfolk orchard and there happened to be a glass studio in the farmyard! After picking plums each day I would go and help out in the hotshop. I soon decided that I liked the more intricate and delicate art of lampworking, rather than the heavy lifting and heat of the hotshop. This is when I bought my first lampworking torch, in 2015. From sailing across the Pacific Ocean to swimming with whale sharks off of the remote island of St. Helena, and hitchhiking through the wild landscapes of New Zealand, my travels continually inspire the work I create.
