What you'll do
Do you love the relaxing scent of a non-toxic, premium soy candle with a crackling wooden wick? Why not learn how you can make your very own to take away with you and enjoy.Join us at Lamport Hall, nestled in the countryside of Northamptonshire for our relaxed candle making workshop. In this creative informal class, you'll learn how to melt, mix and pour wax to create luxury DIY candles from scratch!You even get FREE entry into the gardens with your booking during opening season (March-October)Everything is set up and ready for when you arrive. We provide unlimited tea/coffee & water throughout the class. Lunch is included for our workshops hosted at Lamport Hall.A scrumptious, individual afternoon tea box, filled with delightful, homemade treats provided by the wonderful "Pinky's Pastries". Your friendly teacher Kylie will guide you step-by-step throughout your journey and provide all the equipment and tools you will need, so don't worry if it's your first attempt at candle making, you will feel all of your worries melt away as you sit back and focus on getting creative and learning a new skill. Whether you deserve some self-care or you are looking to treat a special someone with an experience gift, this workshop will leave you feeling calm and collected, with a beautiful candle to take home. Our candle making classes are the ideal way to light up your day and that's a fact!Everything you make on the day will be going home with you at the end of class. (no added postage costs)Detailed class itinerary:
- The workshop will start once we all get settled with a nice cuppa.
- Aprons on! And we then begin with a little introduction about KB Premium Designs and the art of candle making.
- Scents are then chosen and we get down to the fun making. You will make a luxury KB candle and a heart wax melt. There is also an option to play around with colouring your wax and blending fragrances if you wish.
- There is an interval where your creations have time to cure and your bellies have time to be fed.
- Once lunch is finished, you have time to browse the shop stall if you wish, all attendees receive 10% off any purchases made on the day as a thank you for booking onto a class.
- We then de-mould your wax melts, snip your wicks and box up your beautiful creations.

There is ample parking to the rear of the building. Drive through main entrance and turn immediately left under the arch. If you are unable to park in the first car parking area then continue to drive through the next arch and turn right. Follow that road around and the venue has its own parking area.
Your teacher can also travel within 50 miles of Lamport, to a venue of your choice for a private class.
