Try something genuinely different at this ceramic lamp-making workshop in Bristol, where you'll use the slab-building technique to craft a one-of-a-kind lamp from scratch – no experience needed.You'll start by shaping your lamp from clay before carving out your own intricate patterns, designed to let the light filter through in the most beautiful way. Once you're happy with your piece, you'll choose a glaze colour to finish it off, and your tutor will take care of the firing and glazing in their home studio.It's a hands-on, low-pressure session with all materials provided and friendly guidance throughout – the kind of class where you surprise yourself with what you're capable of.
