Knitting School's Claire Newberry is a part-time lecturer at Nottingham Trent University's world-renowned BA (Hons) Fashion Knitwear course. She also lectures at DeMontfort University's BA (Hons) Textile Design course. Claire designs knitwear concepts for the fashion knitwear industry and sells to top fashion houses around the world. Claire has more than 30 years of experience in the knitwear industry and 25 years of experience working as an educator.Claire uses all of this knowledge and expertise to run her online and in-person courses from her UK studio, teaching domestic knitting machinery including Knitmaster, Silver Reed, Passap and DesignaKnit 8 and 9.If you're a beginner, Claire can help you with sketchbook, portfolio and practical demonstrations on all machinery housed in her studio.
