  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: Staff member Emma was lovely. However, there were fundamental flaws all the way through. 1. When everyone is sat down, workshop leader should introduce herself, introduce the workshop, explain a little about what the children will do and how to get some help etc. Ask them their names. 2.Being left to just get on with it is a good thing but the child with me needed guidance, and because it was not structured in any way he had no confidence to do the task, and got quite downhearted, even with me supporting him. 3. Host could move around the table to see what each child has produced, offer some tips and engage with them.

  • 4/5 from Charlotte Fearnley, attended Oct 2026: My daughter had a great time at the pumpkin mache workshop. She was utterly engrossed and the quietest she'd been over half term! The teacher was really helpful and friendly and we'd love to return for future craft sessions.
  • 4/5 from Alice Finnigan, attended Oct 2026: My grandchildren enjoyed the Halloween pumpkin class. I think if the teacher had decorated a pumpkin too the children could have got a better idea. The teacher had a great approach to the children too.
  • 4/5 from Matthew Cavenham, attended Oct 2026: It was rather unfortunate that there were no pumpkins to decorate as not enough had been sent to the store. This is bad planning as I had booked the workshop months ago. My grandsons were disappointed at first, but both chose to create a canvas picture instead. Julie, our instructor was lovely, she assisted the boys when needed, but also allowed them the freedom to use the materials as they wished.
  • 3/5 from Eleanor Stoddart, attended Oct 2026: The class wasn’t long enough, we were rushing to finish at the end as we were told the time was nearly up and they needed to pack up.
  • 3/5 from Kara, attended Oct 2026: Everything was ready when we got there, but there was only orange available for the main part and green for the stalk. Pictures show a variety of colours and other things to include such as googly eyes/glitter. We also felt quite rushed. One of my children (8yo) is quite precise and the lady running it said to him you just need to whack it on and shoved a piece onto his pumpkin. He was very annoyed by this and is very capable of doing it himself. I could understand if we had been there ages, but this happened within 10 minutes of the session starting.
