There is free on street parking. We’re a 5-minute taxi or bus ride from Eastbourne Station, or a 15–20 minute walk through gorgeous Gildredge Park (look out for the legendary Horse Mound). Regular buses from the town centre (routes 1, 1A, 12, or X1) stop near Waitrose or The Lamb in Old Town — just a short walk to the studio. Taxis are easy to find at the station and cost around £5–£10.

I am Kate, a award winning crochet designer, I', known for my amigurumi crochet designs under the name Make Me Roar. I even won Kirstie's Handmade Christmas on Channel 4. Martin is an award winning creative director and designer who keeps everything looking beautiful.At Maker Studio, we run all kinds of creative workshops including crochet, printmaking, art and writing, taught by an inspiring mix of artists and makers. Whether you are a complete beginner, a confident crafter or bringing the kids, there is something for everyone.Our shop is filled with yarn, threads, tools and kits so good you will want to take one of each home. We mix our favourites with finds from independent makers and our own range of crochet kits designed right here in Eastbourne. Come and say hello, we would love to meet you.
