What you'll do
This fun Easter half-term crochet workshop for kids is the perfect introduction to the craft, where they will learn the basic techniques of crochet in a friendly and relaxed environment with our experienced tutor, Cristina. During the 3-hour workshop, they will make their own pencil case to take home with them.The class is taught in right-handed technique, but if your child is left-handed, please let us know on booking. All the tools and materials are included in the price, which includes a crochet hook, stitch marker, yarn needle, chunky yarn, and step-by-step instructions.The workshop is suitable for children from 9 years old plus. Taught by certified crochet instructor, Cristina Valladares, who teaches regular courses and workshops in Bristol and surroundings. She also offers one-to-one tuition or ad hoc workshops.CAN A PARENT STAY?We understand that a parent may want to stay with their child to help them on the day and join in on the experience. Unfortunately we can only allow a parent or carer to stay if the child has additional needs and/or requires them to. Please inform us on booking if you will need to stay for part or the whole duration of the class.Refreshments provided. The class runs from 10am-1pm or request a private workshop at a time and date that suits you (minimum 5 participants).

We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
