What you'll do
Get ready for a day full of creativity, imagination, and hands-on fun!In this one-day summer pottery workshop, kids will dive into the world of clay as they learn the basics of hand-building and sculpting. With guidance from friendly instructors, they'll pinch, roll, and shape their very own pottery creations—anything from animals and monsters to mugs and mini-masterpieces!The day includes:
- Creative clay activities
- Hands-on pottery techniques
- Outdoor breaks and walks on the farm (weather permitting)
- A take-home clay creation (once fired!)
What you'll get
A completed artwork that we will fire and can be collected a few weeks later.Pieces are weighed and paid for prior to firing and collected at a later date.

Beginner-friendly, so no skills or knowledge are required.
What to bring
We provide hot and cold drinks. Please bring snacks and lunch. An apron or old clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy would be useful.

The children had chance to make a plate, Pinch or coil pot and have a try at the wheel. Beth was excellent at giving pointers but also allowing for individual artistic expression. As adults we also had a chance to try some of the skills and some different ones, can’t wait to pick up our finished pieces. A lovely relaxed and interesting day, beautiful environment to work in and an escape from the outside world for a little while!

They made a plate, a pinch bowl and had a go on the wheel, I made a bowl from a mould and we all decorated our items. Beth was great really helpful and knowlegable.
