She didn’t win medals, but she won something far more enduring: a lifelong belief that imagination is a loyal companion, and that making things by hand is a kind of quiet magic.That girl grew into Michele - a maker who wandered through realms of paper mâché, embroidery, clay creatures, woolly inventions, and all manner of curious creations. Yet no matter how far she roamed, thread always tugged her home.Sometimes gently, like a whisper. Sometimes boldly, like a mischievous nudge. Sometimes with the unmistakable feeling that a scrap of fabric had tapped her on the shoulder and said, “You’re needed.
