Q: Do I need any experience?
No experience is required! This workshop is beginner-friendly. You’ll get step-by-step guidance and everything you need to create beautiful Jesmonite pieces.
Q: How long is the workshop?
The session lasts 2–3 hours. The full event time, including setup, may be slightly longer for the host’s prep.
Q: How many people can attend?
Each participant must have their own individual ticket to attend. We can accommodate up to 12 guests per session.
Q: What if my pieces aren’t finished in time?
The Jesmonite pieces will be cured enough during the workshop for you to handle them safely. Any additional finishing (sanding/sealing) can be done outside the workshop if required.
Q: What happens if I cancel or can’t attend?
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in the listing. Generally, advance notice is appreciated so we can offer your spot to others.
Q: Can I customise my colours?
Yes! Guests can choose from a selection of Jesmonite pigments and create their own colour combinations for each piece.

What you'll do
Join Emilia, founder of NomiStone, for a relaxed, creative workshop where you’ll learn how to work with Jesmonite, an eco-friendly casting material, to create your own decorative yet functional homeware piece.You’ll be guided through the process of mixing, colouring and pouring Jesmonite into your selected mould to make a dish or candle holder for your home. Experiment with pigments, terrazzo or marbling effects, gold leaf and other finishing techniques to personalise your design.Once your piece has cured, you’ll demould, sand and seal it, ready to take home and enjoy. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking to try a new craft in a friendly, creative environment.
