Recent reviews of Introduction to Linocut Workshop
- 5/5 from Melanie Barber, attended Feb 2026: A lovely warm welcome from Safa. She went through tips and theory first, then I did a few sketches. Safa then showed me all the tools and we did some test lines. I really enjoyed making my first Lino cut, and printing it. We had a lovely time chatting and I feel like her patience, knowledge and enthusiasm has enabled me to do further work at home with the skills I have learnt.
- 5/5 from Laurence, attended Jan 2026: Really fun beginner class, first time cutting lino. Perfect mix of structured learning and free-style lino cutting. Teacher was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and full of good ideas. It was an absolute pleasure, can only recommend!
- 5/5 from Kate Williams, attended Jun 2025: I received a gift card and used it to attend the Beginners Linoprinting Workshop. I hadnt done linoprinting before but Safa was such a lovely, kind, patient and knowledgeable teacher that I quickly became engrossed in the techniques. I was thrilled to come away with some prints - and think I have definitely discovered a new hobby! I would throughly recommend this workshop!

Safa is an artist whose creative journey draws inspiration from her travels and the natural world around her. Using her drawings as inspiration, she creates unique handmade Lino prints that portray the rich vibrancy she aims to capture. Using the power of texture and composition, Safa’s original Lino prints document her life and travels. Through this tailored workshop, Safa will guide and develop your skills as you navigate the art of Lino printing in a relaxed environment, learning to translate your ideas into prints. Explore the ways in which you can bring your art to life, developing different Lino techniques to draw in a variety of textures and tones, encapsulating your vision as an artist.
