Home isn’t just about the ‘stuff‘ that surrounds us, it's also about the energy we create! Come along to this unique and holistic interior design class and learn how to create your own sanctuary.
At this design class, you'll spend a day in Lucy’s colourful studio, home, and garden as you learn all about how to make conscious decisions for interiors. Throughout the class, you'll discover a more sustainable way of designing and creating beautiful spaces through both theory and practical work.
Whether you are looking to spruce up your space, want to test out a new hobby, or simply want to have some fun and get creative in a new environment, you're sure to love this workshop!
Perfect for design newbies, Lucy aims to inspire, build confidence and find your unique style.
This holistic design workshop will cover:
- Finding your unique style.
- The elements – understanding how we build the layers of space to create balance and harmony as well as the psychology of shape and form.
- Guided meditation with a transformation coach (guest practitioner, Saima Majit).
- How to build layers to tell your story.
- Colour theory, holistic colour and therapy, and combining palettes – colour has the most profound impact on how we feel in a space.
- Sustainable practice.
- Minimalist or maximalist – the objects around us affect us physically and energetically. Learn some simple tips for space clearing.
- Essential oils; creating a home using all the senses!
At the end of this unique design class, you'll walk away with a deep understanding of how to make your space a mood-boosting haven. You will not only gain an understanding of how our homes affect our overall well being, however, you will also have learned to make informed decisions to protect our planet, without losing style!

Lucy works holistically and creatively with colour on many levels to inspire a more conscious lifestyle.
Colour links Lucy’s Passions together~ The natural world, simple living, working with reclaimed materials, global travel and colour, using all the senses!
Creativity, essential oils, colour theory and therapy, herbs…. all combined with her love of fabric and interiors
Based in Derbyshire, she works with clients from her beautiful home, garden and studio, to find the best in themselves and harness their confidence and creativity, aiming to guide and inspire with her diverse wisdom and skills in colour, design and wellness field.
Lucy has a lifelong passion for nature and the environment and an ingrained childhood love of colour, which was later reinforced and inspired by time travelling the globe, particularly Central and South America and living and working in the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, for a number of years.
With a very creative upbringing and family values of ‘make do and mend’ Lucy was naturally led on a path of the Arts, which resulted in a Masters in Sustainable Design from the Royal College of Art, London.
Lucy has exhibited in the UK & Internationally Including New York (ICFF), London (Tent/100%Design/Grand Designs), Paris (Maison Et Objet) scene. Commissions include Liberty London, in collaboration with Grayson Perry, Kew Gardens Orangery, Colin Firth and Eco-Age, Mint London and a commissioned published book with various features in popular design publications.
A countryside girl at heart, having grown up with campfires, allotments and fields in rural Oxfordshire, the energy of London had become draining and she longed for peace and quiet and green spaces.
